Dancing Towers, Skyscraper complex at Reeperbahn, St. Pauli district, Germany
The Dancing Towers is a complex of two glass towers at different heights that stand at angles to create a bent silhouette along the Reeperbahn. The structure contains office spaces and various tenants within the St. Pauli district.
The complex was designed following an architectural competition won by BRT under Hadi Teherani in 2003, with completion in 2012. The project represented a major investment that reshaped this section of Hamburg's skyline.
The Mojo Club, a music venue with deep roots in this area, has returned to its original home within the complex. The space spans multiple levels and reflects the site's ongoing importance to Hamburg's music culture.
Access to the complex is available from the public square between the towers, where you will notice distinctive hydraulic doors. The site connects to underground spaces that you can explore when visiting the grounds.
The two towers feature a special architectural twist through their angled positioning, which inspired their "Dancing" name. This characteristic rotation of the building forms creates a dynamic visual element that stands out along the entire street.
