Dancing Towers, Skyscraper complex at Reeperbahn, St. Pauli district, Germany
Two glass towers with different heights of 85 and 75 meters stand at angles, creating a kinked silhouette against the Hamburg skyline at Reeperbahn 1.
The architectural firm BRT, led by Hadi Teherani, designed these towers after winning a competition in 2003, with construction finishing in 2012 for 180 million euros.
The building complex houses the Mojo Club, a music venue that returned to its original location and spreads across three floors with space for 800 visitors.
The Dancing Towers contain 33,000 square meters of office space, with the Hamburg subsidiaries of STRABAG Group occupying 15,000 square meters as the main tenant.
The structures feature hydraulic doors that open from the public square between the towers and connect to an underground club space beneath the complex.
