St.-Bartholomaei-Kirche, Gothic Revival church in Demmin, Germany.
The St.-Bartholomaei-Kirche features a dominant brick tower reaching 92 meters high with a 3.3-meter cross at its peak in Demmin's center.
First mentioned around 1260, the church endured multiple destructions, including severe damage during the Thirty Years' War and the city fire of 1676.
The church bears the name of Bartholomew the Apostle, who settlers in the region regarded as their guilds' patron saint.
The church received five new bronze bells in 2001, with the Hosanna-Mary Bell weighing 3,600 kg as the largest cast in Vorpommern after 1945.
The Buchholz-Grüneberg organ, constructed in 1818 and expanded in 1866, represents northern German romantic organ craftsmanship.
