The Maria Rosenkranzkönigin church presents Gothic Revival architecture with its brick construction and stands as a central religious structure in Demmin.
The church construction began in 1914 by the Demmin construction company Ernst Bauckmeier, following designs from Berlin architect Josef Welz.
The building accommodated seasonal workers from Poland who contributed to agricultural labor, reflecting the multicultural nature of the community.
The church underwent renovations between 1994 and 1996, received a new Sauer organ in 1977, and continues to serve the Catholic community.
This religious structure contains the tallest tower among Catholic churches in Pomerania, marking its architectural significance in the region.
