The Technikmuseum Magdeburg displays machines, tools, and industrial equipment across 2,000 square meters in a former steel construction hall.
Founded in 1993, the museum emerged from earlier technical exhibitions dating back to 1952, which celebrated Otto von Guericke's 350th birthday.
The museum collection contains 6,000 objects from 1847 to 1980, including steam engines and agricultural tools that represent Saxony-Anhalt's industrial development.
Adult admission costs 4 euros, while children under 18 enter free, and the museum accepts both cash and card payments.
The historical printing workshop conducts demonstrations every Thursday afternoon, showing traditional printing techniques to visitors.
