St. Johannes Evangelist

The three-nave hall church features red-tiled saddle roofs, plastered brick walls, and large stained glass windows illuminating the interior space.

Prince-Bishop Christoph Bernhard von Galen consecrated the church on May 1, 1678, following its construction that began with the foundation stone in 1670.

The church contains two baroque side altars from the second half of the 17th century and a baptismal font made of light sandstone.

The church bell tower, completed in 1914, provides a distinctive visual reference point within the neo-Gothic church landscape of the Münsterland region.

The organ, built by Hermann Eule Orgelbau Bautzen between 2008 and 2010, contains 28 sounding registers and enhances the church's musical capabilities.
