Ernst-Agnes-Tower, Steel observation tower in Schmölln, Germany.

Ernst-Agnes-Tower is a 30-meter tall steel observation structure in Schmölln with two viewing platforms. A staircase of 172 steps connects the platforms and allows visitors to climb to elevated heights for gazing out across the surrounding landscape.

The structure was built in 1893 by a local engineering works as a gift honoring a princely celebration. The project demonstrates the high regard the town held for its ruling family at that time.

The tower bears the name of the duke's wife and stands as a symbol of the connection between the town and its ruling family. Visitors encounter a monument that reflects the local esteem for the princely household of that era.

The tower is best visited on clear days when visibility extends the farthest. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear and be prepared to climb 172 steps at a steady pace.

On clear days, the sight line from the top stretches far beyond the immediate region. Observant visitors may even spot structures belonging to distant towns on the horizon.
