Panorama-Erlebnis-Brücke, Footbridge in Winterberg, Germany

The Panorama-Erlebnis-Brücke is a 435-metre hiking bridge opened on 28 September 2006 on the Erlebnisberg Kappe above Winterberg, on the north-east slope of the Kappe (776 m). It runs north-west to south-east on 17 supports, with six viewing platforms and height differences of five to 20 metres; 410 tonnes of steel and 1,200 cubic metres of concrete went into it.

The Panorama-Erlebnis-Brücke opened on 28 September 2006 on the grounds of the Erlebnisberg Kappe leisure park, on the north-east slope of the Kappe mountain above the Sonneborn valley. The 435-metre structure with 17 supports cost around two million euros and used 410 tonnes of steel and 1,200 cubic metres of concrete.

The bridge's five play elements give it a recreational character: a tube slide, a suspension bridge, a Sky Boa, a plate bridge and a jungle bridge are built into the 435-metre route. At its end tower a nature trail with 14 stations continues, so the crossing is usually combined with a short educational walk.

The bridge runs northwest to southeast on the northeast slope of the Kappe, above the Sonneborn valley, and is reached from the Erlebnisberg Kappe leisure area southwest of Winterberg's centre. It crosses the bobsleigh run, the summer toboggan run and the bike park at one point each, so watch for traffic below. A 14-station nature trail continues from the end tower.

Along the bridge there are several interactive spots where visitors can do activities like stepping on swinging boards or climbing small structures. At the end of the tower is a slide that adds a playful element to the crossing.
