Unser Lieben Frauen Kirchhof, Pedestrian zone at Unser Lieben Frauen Kirchhof in Bremen, Germany
The Unser Lieben Frauen Kirchhof features Gothic architecture with three naves, expanded to four around 1300, and stands next to Bremen's City Hall.
Established in 1020 as a wooden structure, it became Bremen's first parish church outside the cathedral district and was later dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
The stained glass windows, created between 1964 and 1979, represent different aspects of religious messages and contribute to the church's artistic elements.
The church office remains open Monday through Friday, with regular Sunday services at 10:30 AM featuring performances by the boys' choir.
The church's Liebfrauenkeller, formerly used as an ossuary and later as a restaurant until 2002, now serves as a meditation space.
