Wohnpark Rodenkirchen is a residential complex located directly on the Rhine riverbank with multiple high-rise buildings forming a modern housing development. The site includes three seven-story buildings and one sixteen-story tower containing 333 residential units, along with a large indoor swimming pool, underground parking spaces, and elevators serving all residential floors.

The complex was built in 1967-1968 by the Concordia Insurance Company on the site of a former textile factory that produced specialized fabrics until the 1950s. This transition from industrial to residential use represented a shift in how the riverbank area was developed after the war.

The residential park shows how people after the war wanted to live in bright, airy spaces with modern comforts in the city. The buildings reflect a shift in how Germans thought about urban living and what they valued in their homes.

The site offers good parking in underground facilities and is easily accessible through elevators, making it convenient to reach all areas. An on-site indoor swimming pool provides recreational options for both residents and visitors exploring the complex.

The buildings are elevated about 2.60 meters above ground level and equipped with flood protection systems including special doors between structures and the garage. This design reflects how the complex was engineered to handle periodic flooding from the nearby Rhine.
