St. Martin Church

St. Martin Church exhibits a rectangular structure with three naves and features a broad tower that stands prominently above the main building.

The church construction began in July 1929 on the former site of a restaurant called Zum wilden Eber, with consecration following in August 1930.

The interior houses medieval artworks, including a wooden altar cross from the 14th century and a marble tabernacle from the 15th century.

The church complex encompasses a parish hall, St. Martinsheim, a Catholic daycare center, and additional facilities serving various community needs.

The parish area covers 30 square kilometers, extending across neighboring districts of Mahlsdorf and Hellersdorf within the Berlin metropolitan region.
