Keltenmuseum Manching

The Kelten-Römer-Museum displays archaeological findings across 1,200 square meters of exhibition space, featuring artifacts from Celtic settlements and Roman military camps.

The museum contains remains from a Celtic settlement that reached its peak around 140 BCE, encompassing 380 hectares surrounded by a 7.2-kilometer wall.

The exhibition halls present ancient tools, jewelry, pottery, and reconstructions that demonstrate the technical skills of Celtic and Roman civilizations in Bavaria.

The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Friday between 09:30 and 16:00, and on weekends from 10:00 until 17:00, with adult tickets priced at 6 euros.

Two restored Roman patrol boats from 100 CE, discovered in 1986, represent the most complete Roman warship remains found north of the Alps.
