Villa rustica

Villa rustica is an excavated Roman estate that spreads across approximately 0.75 hectares and displays a main building constructed with sandstone blocks. The site features information panels explaining the archaeological discoveries and Roman life at this location.

This Roman estate was founded in the second century and operated for several generations before being abandoned around 235 AD during invasions. The site was discovered in 1932 and later underwent scientific study.

The findings show glass vessels, storage containers, and everyday objects that reflect how Romans lived in this region. These items tell stories about how people here worked and spent their daily lives.

The site is open to visitors year-round and easy to access on foot. Information panels on-site help you understand the remains and follow the story of this Roman settlement.
