Gut Roest

Gut Roest is a manor house in Kappeln featuring two offset gabled buildings in period style, encompassing about 20 rooms across approximately 800 square meters of living space. The estate includes a gatehouse, bakehouse, and cavalier's house with five separate residential apartments.

The estate was first documented in 1231 in King Waldemar's land register and belonged to the Rumohr family from 1498 to 1797, spanning nearly three centuries. This long ownership shaped the history of the surrounding area.
