Neuer Aachener Kunstverein

The Neuer Aachener Kunstverein is an art association with modern exhibition spaces located in Aachen's Stadtgarten. The building contains multiple galleries where rotating exhibitions showcase works by contemporary artists throughout the year.

The organization was founded in 1986 by local citizens and artists, beginning its work in small downtown spaces. It relocated to Rudolfstrasse in 1988 and has since grown into an established exhibition venue.

The institution earned recognition through the Adam Elsheimer Prize at Art Frankfurt and is supported by a group of 24 collectors known as the Twodo Collection. This backing allows it to present quality exhibitions on a regular basis.
