Haus Füchten, Manor house in Ense, Germany.
The two-story manor with its surrounding buildings stands east of the Ruhr River near Hünningen district, featuring a baroque bridge from 1698.
The original castle, first recorded in 1298 as curtis de Vuchtene, was demolished around 1700 by Caspar Diedrich von Droste zu Erwitte to build this manor.
The grand hall on the first floor contains decorative stucco work and serves as a venue for concerts and events throughout the year.
The manor sits along two major cycling routes: the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path and the Panorama Route of the Möhnetal Cycle Path.
In the 19th century, the estate housed an agricultural school for underprivileged boys and orphans through the Mellin Foundation.
