Heilig-Kreuz-Kapelle

The chapel features three baroque altars adorned with twisted columns, with the main altar crowned by a wound cross and volute gable decoration.

The original structure from 1685 maintains its eastern choir, while the expansion to the current neo-gothic hall occurred between 1711 and 1715.

The bell tower, constructed in 1957, holds historical significance as the first of its type in the Archdiocese of Paderborn.

The building includes three entrance portals accessed by outside staircases, with high round-arched windows in the hall and pointed-arch windows in the choir.

The door handles feature the shape of a fish, representing one of Christianity's oldest secret symbols and recognition signs.
