Totenhaus von Tesperhude

The burial house contains a rectangular stone structure with two grave depressions that held wooden coffins containing remains of a young woman and child.

Local residents preserved an oral tradition spanning 3200 years about large fires burning on the hill, which matches the archaeological findings of funeral pyres.
