Jagdschloss Hohengehren, Former hunting lodge in Esslingen, Germany
The building complex included a dog kennel in the southwest section and a garden area positioned in the northeast section of the property.
The structure, originally built as a hunting lodge, was purchased by the Altbach municipality in 1839 for 6049 Gulden when King Wilhelm I dissolved the wildlife park.
The hunting lodge represented the central point of a grand wildlife park, reflecting the German nobility's hunting traditions and architectural preferences.
The building was dismantled from its original location and reconstructed in Altbach, where it served as the town hall until 2018.
Two original ponds that were constructed in front of the hunting lodge remain visible at the site today.
