Koberg, Mountain summit in Hintertaunus region, Germany
Koberg is a mountain in the Hintertaunus region that reaches approximately 460 meters in elevation. It forms part of the Taunus mountain range in eastern Hesse.
The mountain formed through geological processes that created the Taunus range. Its position helped shape the valleys and landscape features in this part of Hesse.
The mountain and its surrounding Taunus Nature Park represent traditional German mountain landscapes that have influenced local outdoor recreation patterns.
Several hiking trails connect to the summit from nearby Haintchen. The area is accessible on foot with routes suited to different skill levels.
The mountain marks the northwestern edge of a high plateau together with Suterkopf and Blumenstück. These three peaks form a distinctive group that defines the landscape character in this section of the range.
