Limes-Thermen

Limes-Thermen is a thermal bath complex with four indoor pools and one outdoor pool fed by mineral water from deep underground. The naturally heated water is kept at around 34 degrees Celsius year-round.

The complex opened in 1985 with architectural references to Roman traditions that once shaped this region through the Limes border fortress. This connection to ancient history gives the bathing experience here a deeper local dimension.

The Roman-Irish steam bath and Tepidarium blend ancient European bathing traditions with modern wellness treatments. Visitors experience practices that have been valued in this region for centuries.

The facility maintains different weekday hours and the outdoor pool operates seasonally. Plan enough time for your visit and check which areas are open depending on the time of year.

The water comes from 600 meters below the surface carrying natural mineral properties that have been valued since the facility opened. This underground source makes each visit a genuine thermal bathing experience.
