Margon-Haus, Office building in Seevorstadt-West, Dresden, Germany
The Margon-Haus features an aluminum facade and concrete side walls, rising nine floors above Budapester Straße 5 opposite the Centrum Gallery.
Built in 1966 under architect Hans Konrad's urban planning, the structure initially served as the administrative center for Dresden's district economic council.
The building displays an illuminated advertisement showing a glass of sparkling water with the slogan 'Prickelnd frisch' for Margonwasser, a regional mineral water.
Multiple companies currently occupy the office spaces, with access provided by tram lines 8, 9, 11, and 12 at the Prager Straße stop.
The protected historical Margonwasser advertisement originated from the Hotel Excelsior ruins before its relocation to this building in 1967.
