St. Mary's church Strausberg

St. Mary's Church is a three-nave columned basilica in Strausberg constructed with red brick walls and granite foundations. The building combines Romanesque and Gothic architectural features throughout its structure.

Construction of the church began in the mid-13th century and took approximately 20 years to complete. Shortly after the building was finished, Strausberg was granted city status and established a Dominican monastery.
