Museum im Kulturspeicher Würzburg

The Museum im Kulturspeicher is an art museum housed in a converted grain storage building along the Main River, displaying modern and contemporary artworks. The structure retains its original industrial form and provides an unusual setting for the collections.

The building was originally a grain storage facility and was transformed into an art museum in the early 2000s. This conversion saved the structure and gave new purpose to the riverside district.

The collection features works by European artists exploring geometric forms and constructive approaches to art. Visitors can experience how these abstract pieces interact with the historic spaces of the former warehouse.

Five windows of the museum feature permanent color installations that shift the light entering the space throughout the day. These colored panes are an ongoing part of the display and shape how visitors perceive the building from outside.
