Seelenberg, Administrative region in Schmitten im Taunus, Germany
Seelenberg sits at an elevation of 584 meters within the Taunus mountain range, surrounded by hills and dense woodland.
The location was documented in 1272 as Selderberg, and in 1695 ten families from the Liège region established a new settlement.
The Saint Casimir Church, consecrated in 1711, functions as the central gathering point for community events and religious services.
The main road through Seelenberg connects to Weiltal Valley and leads to Kittelhütte Pass, where multiple hiking trails begin.
The protected nature reserves of Saubach and Nidgesbach valleys border the settlement, featuring restricted access meadow valleys.
