The Schleglerschloss rises above all buildings in Heimsheim with its 23-meter width, 15.4-meter length, and three-meter-thick exterior walls.
The construction of this manor house began in 1415, with timber elements dating from 1413, and underwent major renovations in 1578 when it was converted into a granary.
The name derives from the Schlegler Alliance, although archaeological investigations in 1986 and 1987 found no direct connection to this medieval knightly association.
The building contains three rental levels, including the Knights Hall for 60 guests, the Festival Hall for 120 guests, and the Club Hall for 100 guests.
The structure incorporates the city wall as its rear facade and features seven total levels, with three additional floors located within the massive roof structure.
