St. Matthias Waldram

St. Matthias functions as a secondary education institution with three distinct sections: Gymnasium, Fachoberschule, and Kolleg, situated in the Bavarian district of Wolfratshausen.

Founded in 1927 as a seminary for late vocations, the institution transformed into a comprehensive Catholic education center offering multiple academic paths under the Munich-Freising archdiocese.

The institution maintains a Christian residential community where students over 18 years old share living spaces while pursuing their educational goals in an integrated environment.

The center provides both general university entrance qualifications through Gymnasium and specialized higher education entrance qualifications through Fachoberschule for students with different educational backgrounds.

Beginning in 2025, the institution will expand its curriculum by introducing a design branch in the Fachoberschule, adding to its existing social sciences focus.
