St. Peter und Paul

St. Peter und Paul church stands 55 meters long, 19 meters wide, and 15 meters high, featuring a vestibule, three-nave layout, and semicircular choir space.

The site initially held the tomb of Roman tax collector Mibliomarus in the first century, followed by a Frankish tower church around 550 and a Romanesque church in 1100.

The entrance portal, created by sculptor Hans Glawe in 1958, depicts 2000 years of religious history at the Losheim ceremonial hill through detailed stone carvings.

The church contains an Oberlinger organ with 45 registers across three manuals and pedals, installed in 1985 for musical performances and services.

The stained glass windows, designed by Jakob Schwarzkopf in 1961, display Saint Barbara, Saint Cecilia, Saint Eucharius, and Saint Wendalinus in vibrant compositions.
