St. Peter und Paul

St. Peter und Paul is a church with three naves, a semicircular choir, and a classical layout inside. The interior houses a large organ with many registers used for services and musical performances.

A Roman tomb once stood at this location, followed by an early medieval chapel around 550. Later a Romanesque church was built on the same spot, which formed the foundation for the current building.

The entrance portal displays religious scenes from different time periods carved in stone by a mid-20th-century sculptor. These detailed carvings tell the story of the place's long spiritual tradition.

The church is within walking distance from the town center and has space for visitors during services and events. It is best to visit during opening hours to fully see the interior furnishings and decorations.

The stained glass windows display four saints and were designed by a renowned artist in the post-war period. These windows are notable for their vibrant colors and exceptional craftsmanship.
