St. Marien, Neunkirchen, Parish church in Neunkirchen, Germany.
St. Marien is a parish church in Neunkirchen built in the Romanesque Revival style during the 1880s. The structure follows a basilica plan with a cross shape, featuring a central nave flanked by two side aisles.
The church was constructed between 1884 and 1885 according to designs by architect Ferdinand Schorbach. It replaced an earlier Baroque structure from 1751 that previously occupied this location.
The interior features wall paintings by artist Franz Schilling from 1930 depicting religious scenes. These works shape the visual character of the space alongside a crucifixion group and a Pieta sculpture.
The church is located at Marienplatz 166 and remains active with regular services. It is easily accessible for visitors who wish to explore the interior.
The church houses a Roethinger organ from Strasbourg installed in 1952 and 1954 with 41 registers. This instrument underwent technical renovation between 2022 and 2024.
