Sophie-Charlotte-Oberschule, Educational monument in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Berlin, Germany.
The Sophie-Charlotte-Oberschule building stretches 90 meters along Sybelstraße with scientific laboratories, a gymnasium, and an organ-equipped wooden-panel auditorium.
Founded in 1857 as a girls' school and named after Prussian queen Sophie Charlotte, the current structure was built between 1913 and 1916 by architect Walther Spickendorff.
The school implements bilingual education where Geography, Biology, and Political Science classes are conducted in English, with French starting from grade seven.
Students can access the school through nearby public transportation stops, including U-Bahn stations Adenauerplatz, Uhlandstraße, and S-Bahnhof Charlottenburg.
The building features a roof garden that students use during breaks, and maintains an outdoor education facility called Hütte RoBuLa by the Schwielowsee in Ferch.
