The church features a compact cross-shaped floor plan with a wide nave measuring 18 meters in width and 37 meters in length.

Bishop Johannes Neuhäusler laid the foundation stone in April 1958, and Cardinal Joseph Wendel consecrated the church on November 30 of the same year.

The Salvatorian parish community organizes theater performances, literature courses, and children's Bible days to strengthen social connections among its members.

Daily masses occur from Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM, with Sunday services at 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM.

The organ, built in 1993 by Alfred Führer, represents one of Munich's few instruments following North German organ building principles.
