Lido Müggelsee, Bathing site at Lake Müggelsee in Rahnsdorf, Germany.
Lido Müggelsee is a bathing facility on the northwestern shore of the lake, featuring a wide sandy beach, volleyball courts, and children's play areas. The site includes separate zones for different activities and age groups.
The bathing site developed as a recreation area on Lake Müggelsee and later gained protection as a cultural heritage monument. In 2006, the Treptow-Köpenick district assumed management of the facility.
This bathing site serves as a gathering place for swimmers from across the city, maintained by community groups who care for its facilities. Visitors come together here to spend time by the water and connect with one another.
The site is best reached by taking the S3 railway line to Friedrichshagen station, then switching to a streetcar heading to Strandbad Müggelsee station. Arriving early on weekends helps secure a good spot on the beach.
The northern shore section of the facility includes an official nudist area with its own entrance, the only one along the entire lake. This separate section allows different visitor groups to enjoy the beach according to their preferences.
