Trossingen station

Located at an elevation of 644 meters, the station features a two-storey entrance building constructed from tuff stone and serves multiple regional train routes.

The station began operations on August 26, 1869, marking the expansion of railway infrastructure in Baden-Württemberg during the industrial development period.

The former entrance building received protection status as a cultural heritage monument, preserving the architectural characteristics of 19th-century German railway stations.

Passengers can access Regional-Express trains and Ringzug services operated by Deutsche Bahn and Hohenzollerische Landesbahn, connecting to various destinations in the region.

Modern platforms have shifted 100 meters eastward from the original entrance building, which maintains its historical appearance despite no longer serving its initial purpose.
