Wildpark An den Eichen

The Wildpark An den Eichen extends across 18 hectares of natural terrain, presenting 43 different animal species in their natural environments throughout the grounds.

Founded in 1962 under the direction of Schweinfurt's forestry office, this wildlife park has served as a regional center for animal observation and education.

The park maintains strong connections with the local community through the Friends of Wildpark association, which organizes educational programs and supports conservation efforts.

Visitors can access the park without any entrance fee, every day of the year, including holidays, with operating hours spanning the full 24-hour period.

The facility houses 500 animals, including elk, lynx pairs, and wild boar groups, alongside a children's petting zoo with detailed informational signs about each species.
