Westfälisches Glockenmuseum Gescher

The Westfälisches Glockenmuseum houses a collection of 1,000 bells across 465 square meters, presenting different manufacturing techniques and historical artifacts.

The museum exhibits the oldest preserved sugar loaf bell from the 12th century, along with four reconstructed beehive bells from the Vreden collegiate church.

The museum incorporates an operational brass foundry and a reconstructed bell founder workplace, demonstrating traditional manufacturing methods to visitors.

Located at Lindenstraße 4 in Gescher, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM with guided tours available.

The facility maintains the only remaining bell foundry in North Rhine-Westphalia, where visitors observe authentic bell production processes.
