Sports Stars Avenue in Dziwnów

Sports Stars Avenue is a public walkway in Dziwnów featuring marble slabs with handprints and names of Polish athletes, located beside the Sports Hall near the promenade. The slabs are arranged along the path and document achievements of athletes from various sports disciplines.

The avenue was established as part of Dziwnów's urban development after the town gained city status in 2004. It reflects Poland's commitment to publicly recognizing and documenting sporting achievements.

The avenue displays handprints from athletes across different sports disciplines and serves as a gathering place during local competitions and the annual Nationwide Sport Dance Tournament each summer. Visitors can see how the town honors and celebrates sporting success.

The path is easily accessible from the town center and runs near the mouth of the Dziwna River where it meets the Kamieński Lagoon. The best time to visit is during summer months when competitions and events take place in the area.
