Dziwnów Bridge

Dziwnów Bridge spans the Dziwna Strait, connecting east and west sections of the coastal town with a mechanical lifting system. The steel structure accommodates both foot and vehicle traffic while raising to permit larger vessels to pass underneath.

Construction took place in the 1930s to connect military barracks and allow military personnel and residents to cross the strait. The design reflected the strategic needs of that era.

The bridge sits near Sports Stars Avenue, where plaques honor Polish athletes who gained international success. This connection links athletic achievement with everyday town life.
