Schwerinsburg Castle, Cultural heritage castle in Ducherow, Germany.

Schwerinsburg Castle is the ruin of a Baroque manor house in Schwerinsburg, part of Ducherow in Vorpommern-Greifswald, built between 1720 and 1733 for Kurt Christoph von Schwerin. The three-winged, two-storey complex had a thirteen-axis corps de logis with pilasters, a mansard roof and about 100 rooms. Today only a few wall remains and a tree-covered rubble mound survive, next to a partly preserved English landscape garden.

Kurt Christoph von Schwerin acquired the village then called Kummerow in 1708 and had a residence built there between 1720 and 1733; the architect is unknown, though Philipp Gerlach is suggested. After a visit, King Friedrich Wilhelm I of Prussia renamed the place Schwerinsburg. The house burned down between 29 April and 1 May 1945 after the Red Army took the village, and its bricks were carted off for new farmhouses.

The village was renamed Schwerinsburg by King Friedrich Wilhelm I of Prussia after he visited the manor. In 1815, at the request of the estate owner Heinrich von Schwerin, Hans Ferdinand Maßmann laid out Pomerania's first gymnastics ground (Turnplatz) in the park, which was redesigned as an English landscape garden in the mid-19th century.

The ruin is not open to the public: only a few wall remnants and a tree-covered mound of rubble remain, so it is viewed from outside. The partially preserved English landscape garden lies to the east and is bounded toward the village by a brick wall. The site is in the Schwerinsburg district of Ducherow, in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.

The sandstone statue of Kurt Christoph von Schwerin made around 1790 by Berlin sculptor Heinrich Bettkober once stood in the centre of the courthouse; today it is on loan from the Schwerin family in the entrance hall of the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin. The ruin itself is on private land and not open to visitors.
