Schule an der Limesstraße

The Schule an der Limesstraße features a two-story building with decorative chimneys and a clock-mounted roof turret in Reform architectural style.

Built in 1906 to accommodate children of railway workers at the newly opened Central Workshop, the school initially welcomed 42 students.

The school building served as a connecting point between the old village center and the new Neuaubing colony, facilitating community integration.

Located at Limesstraße 38, the school contains twelve classrooms serving grades 1 through 4, with 273 students enrolled in 2023-2024.

The educational facility switched functions during World War II, housing air force helpers and later serving as a refugee camp before resuming classes.
