Farbenfabrik Wilhelm Brauns, Industrial color manufacturing plant in Quedlinburg, Germany
The factory complex includes a main administrative building with etched glass windows and an industrial tower marking the entrance to the production area.
Founded in 1890 by pharmacist Wilhelm Brauns, the factory employed 370 workers by 1920 and produced aniline dyes for household textile coloring.
The factory published product brochures in 30 different languages and established international branches, reflecting Germany's industrial expansion in chemical manufacturing.
The protected industrial building at Harzweg 12 contains original conference rooms and requires substantial renovation to preserve its architectural features.
The factory introduced the first colorfast textile dyes worldwide in 1977 through its West German branch, following the division of Germany.
