Vodafone-Campus, Telecommunications headquarters in Heerdt, Germany.
The Vodafone Campus is an architectural complex in Dusseldorf-Heerdt situated near the Rhine River. It consists of an oval 19-story tower and two additional structures that together occupy approximately 155,000 square meters of space.
The site opened in 2012 on former brewery land, consolidating several Vodafone divisions that had been spread across different locations in Dusseldorf. This merger of operations represented a significant shift in how the telecommunications company organized its workforce.
The campus hosts various facilities including dining areas and fitness spaces that shape the daily rhythm of those who work here. These amenities reflect how the place supports the everyday routines of its occupants and their wellbeing.
The complex is situated near the Heerdter Dreieck motorway junction, making it readily accessible by road. The sprawling site is laid out in a way that makes navigation between its various structures straightforward.
The tower's exterior is wrapped in white perforated aluminum panels that create varying visual patterns depending on their angle and orientation. The way light plays across these panels shifts throughout the day, giving the building a constantly changing appearance.
