Christoph Berlin

Christoph Berlin is an emergency medical transport helicopter based in Berlin-Buch that rapidly moves critically ill and injured patients across the metropolitan area. The aircraft carries specialized equipment and allows intensive care providers to treat patients in flight, reaching destinations that ground vehicles would take much longer to serve.

The base was officially opened on May 30, 2024, expanding the emergency response capacity of DRF Luftrettung in the Berlin region. This addition strengthened medical air transport coverage across the metropolitan area and surrounding districts.
