Schloss Bietschied is a manor house in Heusweiler featuring Neoclassical design with a two-story stone structure topped by a slate-covered hipped roof and detailed stucco decorations. The property began as a farmstead in 1743 and underwent major reconstruction in 1810 when Heinrich Wahlster, a wealthy timber merchant and local official, transformed it into the manor house it became. This renovation established the Neoclassical style that defines the building today.

The interior stucco work created by Joseph Beunat displays the refined taste of early 19th-century wealthy owners and their appreciation for skilled craftsmanship. These ornate decorations visible throughout the rooms reflect the aesthetic values that mattered to people of means during that era.

From 1948 to 2014, the building served as a retreat for families of mining workers and later as an orthopedic rehabilitation clinic, showing how its purpose changed significantly over decades.
