Ballsaal Lindengarten

The Ballsaal Lindengarten is an event hall in Dresden with flexible interior space that can be arranged for different purposes. The room features large doors and professional lighting systems, allowing various layouts to suit different types of gatherings.

The building was established in 1881 as a brewery outlet founded by master brewer Samuel Gottlieb Naumann. Around the turn of the century, it transformed into a dance hall, fundamentally changing its purpose and role.

The ballroom became a gathering place where people danced to live music throughout the seasons, shaping the social rhythm of the Albertstadt neighborhood. Regular dance events brought locals together and established this venue as a significant meeting point in the community.

The venue had its own power generator early on, making it one of the first electrically equipped event spaces in Dresden. This technical installation enabled professional lighting at a time when such equipment was rare in the city.
