Königliche Jagdhütte, Royal hunting cabin in Breitenholz, Ammerbuch, Germany
The wooden hunting lodge features a cozy living room, kitchen, cellar, horse stable, and carriage house built in Swiss architectural style.
Prince Wilhelm of Württemberg commissioned the construction of this hunting cabin in 1888, which later became his preferred location for conducting government affairs.
The leather-bound guestbook with silver fittings contains signatures, photographs, and sketches documenting visits from nobility, hunters, and political figures through generations.
The cabin remains accessible through multiple paths from Entringen and Bebenhausen, offering visitors extensive views of Ammer Valley and Neckar Valley.
Near the cabin stands the Signal Oak tree, which facilitated flag communications between the hunting lodge and other royal establishments in the region.
