Schloss Aholming, Medieval castle in Aholming, Germany.

The castle features a late Gothic portal building and multiple stone structures connected by walkways across its extensive grounds.

The first documented mention of the castle dates to 1112, when Walchoun de Auhalmingen appeared in records related to St. Nikola Monastery.

The castle served as a center of local administration under various noble families, including the influential Nothafts who owned it for 300 years.

The castle complex includes buildings at Isarauer Straße 41 and 43, with visits requiring advance arrangements due to its protected status.

In 1553, Emperor Charles V granted the castle owners special rights to brew beer and organize annual markets in the region.
