Burgruine Henneberg, Castle ruin in Poppenbüttel, Germany
The Burgruine Henneberg stands on a 15-meter hill within a 3.5-hectare park featuring trees from Europe, USA, China, and Japan.
Built between 1884 and 1887 by the Gutsbesitzer Henneberg family, the structure initially served as a family archive for two decades.
The castle currently functions as a venue for concerts, theater performances, readings, and various cultural gatherings throughout the year.
The facility accommodates groups from eight to one hundred people, with access granted through personal invitations and support from donations.
This miniature replica of the original Henneberg Castle in Thuringia represents the only medieval-style building in Hamburg.
