Irrland, Farm adventure park in Kevelaer, Germany
Irrland is a leisure park on a former farm in Kevelaer-Twisteden, covering about 30 hectares. It is split into Irrland-West, Irrland-North and Irrland-South: West holds most rides, a petting zoo and a runway with decommissioned aircraft converted into play equipment; South has models of the Colosseum and Pantheon plus a bamboo maze; North has a large barn with a maize pool. The entrance gate carries yellow "IRRLAND" lettering with a palm tree.
The park started in 1999 as a simple corn maze and gradually grew into a major agricultural experience center over the following years. Multiple expansions added new attractions and facilities to accommodate growing visitor numbers.
The place teaches visitors about farm life through hands-on interactions with animals and opportunities to see daily farming routines in action. People can observe how animals are cared for and understand their role in working agricultural operations.
Visit on dry weather days since most areas are outdoors and paths can become muddy after rain. Wear comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing as you will spend considerable time walking through the park.
