Visit on dry weather days since most areas are outdoors and paths can become muddy after rain. Wear comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing as you will spend considerable time walking through the park.

The grounds feature a large indoor garden and a decommissioned aircraft that children can climb aboard and explore. These unexpected additions give the visit a special appeal for many families.
