Städtisches Museum Zirndorf

The Städtisches Museum Zirndorf occupies a renovated 18th-century half-timbered building complex in the center of the city, displaying local heritage across multiple floors.

The building served various purposes throughout centuries, including an inn called Zum Hirschen, a bell foundry in 1663, and the first pharmacy of Zirndorf in the 19th century.

The ground floor exhibits document the evolution of tin toy manufacturing in Zirndorf, while the upper level presents artifacts from the Thirty Years' War period.

The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, including public holidays, with guided tours available for different audience groups.

The museum earned its nickname 'Glockengießerhaus' from bell founder Wolfgang Roth, who operated his workshop at this location during the 17th century.
