St.-Fronleichnam-Kirche, Modern church building in Essen-Bochold, Germany.
St.-Fronleichnam-Kirche features three bells in the left tower and a main altar crafted from red Main sandstone with the original high altar table.
The church construction began in 1932 after initial plans from 1925, following a temporary church made from three former Krupp barracks in 1919.
The church houses a Pietà by Franz Guntermann, which was exhibited at an international exhibition of Christian art in Rome in 1934.
The crypt, consecrated in 1991, provides space for school church services and maintains regular religious gatherings for the local community.
During World War II, the church sustained substantial damage and underwent reconstruction until 1962, with additional modifications in 1973 and 1992.
