Bürgerpark Marzahn

The park stretches across 9 hectares of land, featuring two ponds, wide lawns, flower beds, trees, and an extensive network of pathways throughout the grounds.

Bürgerpark Marzahn, initially named Wohngebietspark, opened in 1992 with an area of eight hectares and expanded in 2009 along Ludwig-Renn-Straße using former residential building space.

The adjacent Garten der Begegnung serves as a community meeting place where local residents cultivate small garden plots and participate in social gatherings.

The park includes a children's swimming pool called Platsch, multiple playgrounds, a skateboard facility, and numerous paths suitable for cycling and walking activities.

Near the park, couples can plant trees at the Hochzeitspark Marzahn-Hellersdorf, creating a growing memorial of their marriages within the community space.
